Terms of use and of business

The pages here describe a website design service and set out general information about building a small business site. They are not advice about your specific business. Nothing on the site forms a contract until a build is agreed in writing.

The five-page and ten-page prices on the pricing page are fixed for the scope described. A build outside that scope, or anything bigger (a shop, bookings, a customer portal, an integration), is quoted once we know what is needed.

A build is custom-built for the business described at enquiry, not a theme with the name changed. It is mobile-first, includes a working contact form, is set up with the SEO basics (titles, descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, Search Console and Analytics where applicable), and is delivered on the client's own domain.

Once the preview is ready you get one full round of changes before it goes live. Changes requested after that round, or a change of scope partway through, are treated as new work and quoted separately.

You tell us about the business, what it does, the area it serves and anything you like the look of. The studio briefs and builds from that, using an AI-assisted build system reviewed and finished by a person before you see it, then sends a preview to look at.

If conditions on our side make the stated scope impossible to deliver as described, we say so before starting rather than after, and the price is re-agreed.

A build is booked for an agreed price for the tier or scope described. If what is needed turns out to be materially different from what was described at enquiry, the price is re-agreed before further work continues.

Cancelling before work starts costs nothing. Work already carried out on a build that is then cancelled may be charged for.

Once a build is paid for in full, the site and its content are yours to use for your business. Hosting and care is a separate, ongoing service and is not required to keep using a site you own outright, though moving hosting elsewhere is your responsibility to arrange.

Liability is limited to the fee paid for the build, except where the law does not allow that limit.
