Thermal Drone Survey: thermal building surveys website

The job
What the site had to do
A thermal survey is easy to oversell. The site had to explain what the camera can and cannot show, build trust with real credentials, and still make booking a survey straightforward.
What we built
How it does it
Three survey types
Whole-building scans, heat loss and insulation gaps, and damp and flat roof moisture each have their own page for the question the visitor is asking.
Credentials, stated plainly
CAA registration, the A2 Certificate of Competency, the camera kit and the commercial insurance are set out in one section.
Images with plain captions
Example thermal images each carry a caption saying what the pattern shows and that it does not prove a cause on its own.
Local pages built around housing
Every area page is written around the age and construction of the housing built there, because a reading means different things on different walls.
The details
Small things that turn a visit into an enquiry
- The 48 hour report and what it contains, listed up front
- A booking button and phone number in the header on every page
- A questions section on timing, weather and what a camera cannot see
Everything described here can be seen on the live site at thermal-drone-survey.co.uk. Project sizes vary; your five or ten page scope is agreed before we begin.
